Clearing interiors is also easy tell your pack mule to wait outside to "park" it there, clear out the interior, come outside, load it onto your pack mule and leave. The former 2 should be more damage-oriented while your pack mule should focus on high carry capacity. You should have 3 robots: Codsworth/Curie, Ada(modded to your liking) and a sentry bot pack mule. You should also build 1 more robot to accompany you. Modify Codsworth, Curie and Ada to your liking. Once you have the Robot Workbench, it's time to start building. Once you have found Ada, loot everything. By this time, you should have a large stockpile of junk, Vegetable Starch and good gear. Once you have these perks, it's time to start Mechanical Menace. You won't need many damage perks, as your robots will do most of the combat for you You will want to wear Charisma increasing gear and get the Barter Bobblehead. High carry weight is essential, as it allows you to carry more junk, which allows you to build more robots. Power Armor is optional, however it can be good early-game for the extra carry weight. You will also want to prepare for Level 15 as soon as you can, as that's when Mechanical Menace starts. This will allow you to amass a huge stockpile of it. You will want to start making Vegetable Starch from the very beginning. You will then use this for vegetable starch, which will be essential for building robots. When you start, place industrial purifiers, corn, mutfruit and tatos. You will want to get Codsworth and Curie as companions as soon as you can. You will also want to get the Luck Bobblehead as soon as you can. When you leave the Vault, you will want to use the SPECIAL book to raise your Strength by 1.
